Red Oak First United Methodist Church gathers weekly for uplifting and inclusive worship.
Whatever you wear in your everyday walking-around life. Jeans to sport coats,
t-shirts to blouses, shorts to pleated khakis, are all fine.
During worship, all children are invited to attend and participate in the various worship services with their parents. We believe that the presence of children in worship is an important part of the community of faith in addition to bringing joy and life to worship.
Red Oak First is an evangelical congregation and our worship services are crafted so that music and the word work in harmony to provide the message of God’s love to everyone. Our pastor is an expository preacher and all messages find their foundation in scripture. Please check out our devotionals page to our past sermons.
Our music is led by two highly talented professionals—Mr. Tim Marsden, Music Director and Mrs. Becky Neff, Assistant Music Director. Both Tim and Becky are professional musicians, singers, and artistic directors. The music at Red Oak First reflects their gifts and talents. Our music is diverse and incorporates the rich theology of beloved hymns, the joy of contemporary Praise Music, an adult choir, and Bell Choir. Special Music is always a part of our worship coming from the many talented voices within our congregation.
Yes! The Church is made up of people from a variety of denominational backgrounds. Please know that it is not a requirement to be United Methodist to join us in worship and fellowship. Everyone is invited to participate fully in this community of faith.
Our 9:00am Worship Service is located in the Main Sanctuary and features a blend of contemporary and traditional worship styles. The service incorporates more modern worship songs with a praise band, a sermon, time for prayer, and the use of video and projected images to enhance the worship experience.
